Suntory is set to launch a limited series of canned highball drinks featuring the prestigious "Yamazaki" whisky on August 8th, in honor of the 100th anniversary of the company's founder, Shinjiro Torii, starting whisky production. These special editions, known as "Suntory Premium Highball Yamazaki," will be available in a limited quantity of about 2.4 million cans, each containing 350 milliliters (12 oz) of the beverage. With a price tag of 660 yen ($4.65) per can, inclusive of taxes, they will be sold in various supermarkets and retailers across Japan. Yamazaki whisky is Suntory's flagship product, crafted at the renowned Yamazaki Distillery located in the town of Shimamoto, in Osaka Prefecture.
