Innovative Pink Vending Machine Delivers Wagyu Beef

A pink vending machine installed in the city of Tsuyama, located in west Japan, has captured the attention of locals since its introduction this spring. This unique machine offers vacuum-sealed frozen packs of high-quality wagyu beef, a renowned brand of beef originating from the same prefecture. The Morioka meat shop, well-known in Tsuyama for providing Japanese Black wagyu beef at affordable prices, took the initiative to set up this vending machine along Omotecho shopping street in the Kita Ward of Okayama City. Inside the machine, customers can find a selection of seven Tsuyama wagyu beef items, including steak, burger patties, and the local specialty known as "dried meat." These delicious offerings are conveniently packaged in vacuum-sealed frozen packs and are priced between 1,000 to 2,000 yen (approximately $7-14).

The visionary behind this venture is Hideki Morioka, the 60-year-old owner of the Morioka meat shop. When asked about his motivation for entering the vending machine business, Morioka humbly explained that his goal was not solely focused on profit, but rather on supporting cattle farmers who have been facing challenges due to sluggish sales. As a starting point, he decided to install the first vending machine in a distinctive pink color, matching the color scheme of his shop.

To Morioka's surprise, the products in the vending machine consistently sell out, prompting him to restock the machine on a weekly basis. Not only has the vending machine gained loyal customers, but it has also attracted more visitors to his physical store and online shop. Encouraged by the success of his own vending machine, Morioka has taken a step further by assisting livestock farmers in establishing their own machines. This endeavor aims to promote "the sixth sector industrialization," a concept where individuals engaged in primary sector activities also handle manufacturing and sales in a comprehensive manner.

This innovative initiative by Hideki Morioka has not only provided locals with convenient access to high-quality wagyu beef but has also created a positive impact on the struggling cattle farming industry. By bringing together the primary sector (cattle farming) and the manufacturing and sales sectors through vending machines, Morioka has effectively contributed to the "sixth sector industrialization" concept. As the popularity of these vending machines continues to grow, the future looks promising for both Morioka and the dedicated farmers he supports.

The pink vending machine offering vacuum-sealed frozen packs of Tsuyama wagyu beef has garnered attention and praise in the west Japan city of Tsuyama. This unique concept, brought to life by the Morioka meat shop, not only benefits the shop itself but also provides crucial support to local cattle farmers. With its eye-catching appearance and diverse selection of wagyu beef products, the vending machine has become a favorite among locals and has boosted business for both the shop and the farmers. Hideki Morioka's dedication to promoting the sixth sector industrialization has paved the way for a brighter future in the region's agricultural sector.

The coemo is one of the latest AI products that can learn and replicate human voices and thoughts, allowing family members or friends to interact with a representation of their deceased loved ones. Tomy Co., the company behind the coemo, released this speaker last year, and it has garnered significant attention for its unique capabilities. By using the coemo, individuals can listen to children's stories spoken in the exact voice of their family members or friends.
